Events Planning Specialist/ Lead/ Associate

About the Role:
Seeking an experienced (preferred), passionate event planning specialist/lead/ associate to support our Event Planning Team. You’ll ensure high-quality experiences, serving as the main point of contact for production on all projects. Flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail are essential, with a proven track record in live event production and experiential marketing. Strong communication and project management skills required. Join us in creating unforgettable experiences!

You Will Be:
1. Assisting Project Managers with event planning and onsite event manpower
2. Work along with Projects Manager for Creation of quotations, invoices and proposals
3. Handles enquiries & cold calling
4. Event Attendance & handling of event operations
5. Sourcing and consolidating suppliers and vendors management
6. Assisting with Leads and Sales
7. Designing and creating collaterals and content creation for marketing
8. Caption creation, scheduling and posting on social media accounts
9. Ad-hoc duties assigned by the management of TheMeetUpSG Pte Ltd.
10. Website Development
11. Training of new hires if any

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum qualification: Diploma
Self-motivated and accountable individuals with the ability to work autonomously.
Strong passion for events and marketing, demonstrating enthusiasm for the industry.
Flexibility to attend events on both weekdays and weekends as needed.
Must possess a personal laptop for work-related tasks and responsibilities.
Strong customer service orientation to ensure clients’ needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
Detail-oriented approach to ensure all aspects of an event, from invitations to post-event evaluations, are handled meticulously.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle unexpected changes or last-minute adjustments during events.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Our Hiring Process:

Sales Associate (Freelance High Commission Based)

  • Make appointments with potential leads
  • Create awareness through contacts & online promotions for our business
  • Follow-up & close the sales

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Promoting our business to corporate clients (B2B Business)
  • Cold calling leads
  • Answering incoming calls from prospective customers
  • Using scripts to provide information about service features, prices etc. and present benefits
  • Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information​

Working Hours:

  • Location: WCEGA Tower/WFH
  • Flexible working arrangement, work at own time without the pressure of hitting sales quota and reporting to office.
  • Earning on Commission Basis
